Winter boots, of all kinds.

Ok girlies, I know it's getting chilly out there so head out to the mall with your head held high. Some boots are super expensive, here are 3 tips to keep your budget and your feet, happy!

              Tip 1: DON'T go for Uggs!
                         I know they are "in" but what isn't in is the price! They are priced from $90 to up to $300! And when you put your foot into it, is has a hard bottom, now here are some boots that are comfy and will keep your feet warm. The Minnetonka brand, is amazing. I had some boots from there and they are amazing, I wore them out! Another brand I recommend is Bear Paw boots, they are so comfortable, and you can get them at places like DSW, Famous Footwear, Foot Locker, Scheels, and many other retail stores. See it's already easier.

       Tip 2: Don't go too cheap!
                     I know I said cheap is better, but if you buy too cheap your boots may be ruined the FIRST time you step into the snow. Then you have to go off and buy another pair of boots. Make sure the sides aren't too thin, and they aren't ripping you off by having a little amount of warm fuzz on the inside.

    Tip 3: Don't over wear your boots.
                Look, I am giving it to you straight. If you love a pair of boots so much you decide "HEY this year, I can save some money and not get new boots and just wear the same ones I did last year!" mom will be all for it. But even though you might think it's a good idea, it isn't, because if you wear out your boots one cold winter day, and you have melting snow in your shoe, it isn't fun! It is freezing and uncomfortable (I speak from experience). Then you may come home with a cold! So for the good of you, buy some new boots.

                                        Here is a checklist of things your winter boots should have.
                                                  * Enough warm fuzz
                                                  * Thick sides
                                                  * Thick sole
                                                  * Size should be 4 inches from ankle or more
                                                  * and love :)

Make fall better!!!

Invest in some comfy mocs
Whether you’re strolling down the halls or scuffing around the house, fuzzy mocs are one way to stay warm when the temps start dipping down. Pop on jeans and a plaid shirt for the ultimate kick-back getup.

Rock major socks (or legwarmers)
Boy-ish stompers are so this minute. Soften ’em up with slouchy legwarmers or awesome socks and you’ve got a look that’s oh-so-autumnal. Rock them with a dark floral dress or your fave shorts and a flirty top. Cute!

Craft like a pro
What’s more fun than busting out the arts ‘n’ crafts on a rainy or chilly Saturday afternoon? The answer: Not much. We’re super into the blog P.S. I Made This and, yay!, the craftastic Erica Domesek just released a DIY book. You’ll be whipping up cute (and couture-inspired) goodies in no time flat.
